Who is hospice care for?

Hospice care is generally for a terminally ill person who is expected to live for six months or less. However, hospice care can continue to be provided given that the patient’s doctor and hospice care team certify that the condition remains life-limiting.

Where is hospice care provided?

Most commonly, hospice care is provided in the patient’s home, but can also be provided at nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. A & H Hospice provides hospice services to Los Angeles, Orange, Kern, Ventura, and San Bernardino counties.

What insurance do you accept?

Patients with MediCare and MediCal are accepted with no out-of-pocket costs. We also accept most private insurance. Call us at 818-751-0700 to verify if we accept your insurance.

How long will your team take to respond to a service request?

Our team members will respond to your service request promptly. We aim to provide each patient with rapid service fulfillment within 24 hours from the time you contact us. We have a physician on duty 24/7 to provide medical services.

Do you provide medical supplies?

Yes, we offer health supplies and medical products to help enhance the hospice care we provide.

Does your staff help after business hours?

Yes, our hospice healthcare professionals provide services after normal business hours. Our staff may be on call or present round-the-clock depending on the level of care the patient is currently receiving.
